Fall Blend Recipe 1

Check out this 30-second video to see how to make a simple autumn crock pot blend. Below, you’ll find step-by-step instructions.

Ingredients:
– Cinnamon sticks
– Apple peels
– Orange rinds
– Whole cloves

This recipe is my favorite for fall. I usually save apple rinds, cores, and orange peels in the fridge or freezer.

Start by peeling a couple of apples and, if possible, save the cores too. Since citrus scents are quite strong, feel free to add as much orange peel as you like. I love the uplifting and refreshing smell of citrus, so I always add a bit extra.

Put the peels in a small crock pot with water, two cinnamon sticks, and a dash of whole cloves. Turn the pot on low and let it warm up slowly. Leave the lid off for a stronger scent. This blend can simmer for a couple of days. Just add more peels and water if needed after the first day.
