6 Creative Vitamin Water Recipes to Transform Your Hydration Routine

At Natural Living Ideas, we’ve been really into water lately. The advice to “drink more water” seems to pop up everywhere as a way to boost your health, and there’s a good reason for it. Water is like a magic health booster, helping to fix all sorts of issues. Unfortunately, many people don’t drink enough of it, often because they don’t like the taste.

While looking for ways to make water more interesting, we found a cool gadget called the Aqua Zinger. It’s part juicer, part water bottle, designed to flavor your water with fresh fruit and herbs without leaving you with pulp and seeds.

Here are six of my favorite recipes that I’ve tried and loved with my new Zinger. Enjoy!

Kiwi Strawberry Fizz
For this one, it’s best if your berries are very ripe. Chop them up, fill the fruit compartment, close it, and add fizzy water. Secure the compartment and lid tightly, then turn the bottle upside down a few times (don’t shake it too hard or it will spray when you open it). Each time you finish the water, add more and let it sit to get more berry-kiwi flavor. I also like adding a sprinkle of Stevia or Monk Fruit for sweetness, and fresh mint for an extra kick.

Cranberry Citrus Cocktail
Add slices of any citrus fruits you have—orange, grapefruit, lemon, lime—to the fruit compartment. Add a splash of 100% unsweetened cranberry juice, then fill with soda water or plain filtered water. This combo is refreshing and energizing, great for flushing out your urinary tract and boosting your metabolism. I prefer it unsweetened, but you might want to add a little sweetener if it’s too sour for you.

Cucumber Double-Melon
Ripe honeydew and cantaloupe pair perfectly with cucumber slices. Just add cold filtered water or fizzy water, let it sit for a few minutes to let the flavors meld, then sip and enjoy! This is a classic flavor combination, unless you don’t like cucumbers and melons.

Cucumber, Lime & Mint
Mix fresh mint and lime with cucumber slices for a cool, refreshing treat that feels like a spa day. You can add extra mint and a bit of natural sweetener like Stevia or Monk Fruit to make it taste like liquid candy.

Pineapple, Orange & Mango
If you like sugary tropical juice drinks, you’ll love this healthier version. Pineapple, orange, and mango taste amazing together. You can also add a slice or two of banana. Pour in the water and add a natural sweetener for a truly sweet fruity treat.

Remember To Save Your Fruit!
One of the best things about the Aqua Zinger is that the fruit stays neatly packed in the bottom. You can eat it with a fork as a sweet snack, scoop it into a jar of water to make more infused water overnight, or freeze it in ice cube trays to make colorful fruity ice cubes that look pretty and make your water taste better as they melt.
