6 Refreshing Vitamin Water Recipes to Jazz Up Your Hydration

The advice to “drink more water” seems to pop up in almost every health improvement list, and for a good reason. Water is like the ultimate health booster. Unfortunately, many people don’t drink enough of it, often because they find the taste bland. In our quest to make water more appealing, we came across a cool gadget called the Aqua Zinger. It’s part juicer, part water bottle, designed to flavor your water with fresh fruits and herbs without leaving pulp and seeds behind.

Here are six of my favorite recipes I’ve tried and loved with my Zinger.

Kiwi Strawberry Fizz
For this recipe, make sure your berries are very ripe. Chop them into small pieces, fill the fruit compartment, and add fizzy water. Secure the lid tightly and turn the bottle upside down a few times. Refill with water after each use and let it sit to absorb more flavor. If you want a sweeter taste, add a sprinkle of Stevia or Monk Fruit, and try adding fresh mint for an extra kick.

Cranberry Citrus Cocktail
Combine slices of orange, grapefruit, lemon, and lime in the fruit compartment. Add a splash of 100% unsweetened cranberry juice, then fill with soda water or plain filtered water. This drink is both refreshing and energizing. The cranberry juice helps flush out your urinary tract, and the citrus fruits boost your metabolism. This recipe is very sour, so you might need to add a bit of sweetener to taste.

Cucumber Double-Melon
Mix ripe honeydew and cantaloupe with cucumber slices for a classic, refreshing combination. Just add cold filtered or fizzy water, let it steep for a few minutes, and enjoy!

Cucumber, Lime & Mint
Combine fresh mint and lime with cucumber slices for a refreshing, spa-like treat. For extra flavor, add more mint and a natural sweetener like Stevia or Monk Fruit to make it taste like liquid candy.

Pineapple, Orange & Mango
If you love tropical juice drinks but not the added sugar, try this combo. Pineapple, orange, and mango taste great together. You can even add a banana slice or two. Pour in water and add a natural sweetener for a delicious fruity treat.

Remember To Save Your Fruit!
One of the best things about the Aqua Zinger is that the fruit stays neatly packed at the bottom. When you’re done, use a fork to enjoy a sweet snack, scoop it into a jar of water for more infused water, or freeze the mashed fruit in ice cube trays to make colorful, fruity ice cubes.
