Everyone dreams of having thick, beautiful lashes. Instead of spending a lot on expensive cosmetic treatments and commercial serums, there’s a natural and affordable solution to achieve the lashes you want.
The secret to boosting lash growth is castor oil. This oil is packed with nourishing fatty acids, like ricinoleic acid, which moisturize and protect your lashes.
Just like the hair on your head, your eyelashes can dry out from overuse of makeup and cleansers. Damaged lashes can become thin and fall out over time. Lavender and rosemary essential oils are known for promoting hair growth and are soothing for dry or sensitive skin. If you’re ready to grow thicker lashes, here’s how to get started.
Ingredients:
– Organic Castor Oil
– Rosemary Essential Oil (cedarwood is a good alternative if you prefer)
– Lavender Essential Oil
– 2 oz Glass Dropper Bottle
Fill the glass dropper bottle three-quarters full with castor oil. Add 2 drops each of rosemary and lavender oil. Put the top on and give it a gentle shake.
To use: Apply a thin layer of the mixture nightly before bed. Castor oil is gentle and won’t irritate your skin or eyes, but be careful not to get any of the oil in your eyes. If some gets in your eyes, don’t wash it out with water. Instead, use another oil like sweet almond or coconut oil to gently remove the excess, then rinse with warm water.
This serum is shelf-stable for six months. You should start seeing growth results in one to three months, but you’ll notice softer lashes right away.
